# Pay

> Workspace subscription billing, invoice views, seats, and billing return flows.

Pay (`pay.tuturuuu.com`, `apps/pay`) is the private workspace billing surface.
It is distinct from Finance's financial records and Inventory/Storefront's
customer purchases.

## Open billing

The app entry resolves a workspace through its dashboard flow, including
pending invitations. The workspace destination is `/{wsId}/billing`; the
provider return flow uses `/{wsId}/billing/success`. Central sign-in and the
Pay app session establish the actor before billing access is checked.

Billing surfaces can include subscriptions, seats, invoices, and provider
payment methods according to the configured provider and workspace permissions.
Use [Commercial controls](/platform/features/commercial-controls) and
[Account benefits](/platform/features/account-benefits) for entitlement and
commercial rules. An app directory link does not grant billing administration.

## Read payment evidence correctly

A browser return or success URL is part of navigation. Provider state,
subscription records, authorized webhook processing, and the application's
billing reconciliation determine the actual result. Avoid repeating a checkout
simply because a return view is still loading; inspect the current provider and
workspace state first.

Billing pages, provider returns, invoices, and payment methods are noindex and
excluded from public sitemaps. Public pricing/product information belongs on
Web. See [Search indexing](/platform/features/search-indexing).

[Pay routes](/reference/repository/routes/pay),
[Finance](/platform/applications/finance), and
[Storefront](/platform/applications/storefront) explain the separate ownership
boundaries.
